Mac App Update is Live!

October 24, 2014

For those of you who have been patiently waiting for the capability of selecting which AirPlay speakers to play your music or sounds on, I have some good news. The update to ObyThing Music for this functionality on the Mac is now live on the App Store. Go ahead and update or if you’ve been waiting for this feature to buy, now is (maybe) the time! Unfortunately, I say maybe because we are still waiting for approval for the SmartThings part of it. The version that is available now in your SmartThings app does not have this functionality built in, but if you are comfortable getting into the SmartThings developer tools, you can grab the updated device type and SmartApps from our GitHub page and you’ll be all set. (For help with that process, check this page or the SmartThings community).

In other good news, we’ve been getting a lot of great feedback from you all. We love to hear your ideas, we love to help fix your issues, and we love to hear how you’re using ObyThing Music, so keep it coming. If you love ObyThing Music, you can really help us out by taking a second to give us a review on the App Store. PS – there is one bad review on there right now, so Nmr2930, if you’re out there, please get in touch with us and we’d love to fix whatever problem you had!
